About Us

Benesh Consulting Group

BCG is the premier provider of family and privately-held compensation consulting and people design services with offerings globally.

Founded by Bruce Benesh, BCG focuses exclusively on single-family offices, family office-owned businesses, and privately held businesses.
Over the last 40 years, Bruce Benesh and his team have provided compensation consulting services to more than 500 clients. The significant majority of these clients have been within the family-owned sector. Based on our knowledge, we have worked with more families that would qualify for the Forbes 400 list than any other compensation consulting firm. The BCG team has provided services to six of the top 20 largest family offices in the entire US.
BCG’s culture and team are built around providing compensation consulting services to families and privately-held businesses. Our experience is highly specialized, and our scope includes all aspects of benchmarking of compensation throughout these companies (top to bottom), incentive plan design, people strategy, and organizational structure. We have developed and designed hundreds of incentive plans, both annual performance bonus plans and simulated long-term incentive plans, for both domestic and global businesses. We have an extensive reach to include deep experience in working with families that are global and have multi-cultural offices.
We are clear leaders in the industry and have dedicated our consulting practice solely to families and privately-held companies that they invest in.

"I don't like working in the family business sector. I love it. I love the industry. We work exclusively with family offices, family-owned operating companies, and privately-held businesses. We know these areas really well and are probably the most experienced firm in the family office sector. It's very humbling to work with these families, and it's really rewarding."
